Evaluation Period:
The first few months with The Coven of Nemetonas Were are the evaluation period. At any time within this period, we reserve the right to discontinue training. We will of course explain our reasons to you and when possible, we will refer you to another group with the hope that they are a better match for you. Sometimes, it's simply a case of people not getting along well with each other. There is no way to work magically when we don't feel comfortable and safe together.

When the evaluation period is over, you must  become a Dedicant of The Coven of Nemetonas Were or decide to leave. Our goal is to train people towards initiation which cannot be attained when we stay put with pre dedicants only..

Dedication and Beyond:
When you are a new student (Dedicant) of The Coven of Nemetonas Were and of course also later on!!!!! (so maybe have a reminding look at this page every now and then:) you will be expected to:

Make a commitment to study with The Coven of Nemetonas Were and take that commitment seriously.
As we make the commitment to take the time to train you, so must you make the commitment to take the time to be trained. Should you decide Wicca is not for you, then of course, you are always free to go. This path is based on your own free will!  However, if you, by your own free will, decide you want to work with a Coven, then you also agree to commit to the Curricula that your chosen Coven implies. Should you decide at any time that you cannot honour this commitment, then you are free to, and should leave the Coven.

Attend the Sabbats, and the Full and New Moons as scheduled.
Attendance of the Sabbats and Esbats is not only required for your training, but is the way in which we honour the Gods. If you have any major concerns doing so, then you should not be considering to become a member of the Coven of Nemetonas Were.

Complete any required assignments on time.
In Wicca everything is about respect. Please respect the work we do in teaching you by completing  your assignments. Assignments might include required reading, essays and the like. If this troubles you, you should not be considering to become a member of the Coven of Nemetonas Were either.

Be accountable for your own choices and actions.
If necessary it is your responsibility to explain to your family, friends and significant other why you want to be Wiccan and in a Coven.

Work diligently towards your Initiation.
You must do your assignments without prodding by us, and finally, when you have completed the requirements for First Degree, you may ask us for Initiation.

And please!!! Don't expect to be initiated to any degree based purely on the amount of passed time, books you might have read or previous studies you might have undertaken. Finally it's the decision of your Elders which is taken based on your development.

If you cannot commit to the above requirements, then this Coven is "not" for you.
